Run Robot Run

Just in case anyone sees “Run Robot Run” and is fascinated by the remarks the robot makes about Sartre and constantly re-inventing yourself, Sartre entirely ripped that off from Hegel. The constant reimagining the universal and actualizing it in action is the role of the ironic self in the dialectic of the beautiful soul. Further, Sartre’s concept of action as constant reinvention of the universal is one sided because he fails to give enough credit to the negativity (perticularity) which is inherent in (and at the same time opposed by) the “universal” action by the ironic self. This is the origin of the notion of otherness (a negativity/perticularity with respect to me is always the result of any action by another).
